Shipping and Delivery

For security reasons, Uptown Retros online purchases may be shipped only to the billing address of your credit card. All purchases are shipped with one of our shipping agents. To estimate the total delivery time for your purchase, please allow up to five BUSINESS days to process your order for shipment, in addition up to approximately fourteen BUSINESS days for delivery. Orders are processed and delivered Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Uptown Retros cannot be responsible for unanticipated delays.

Customers are responsible for providing a full valid address, including apartment number if applicable, for delivery. They are responsible for arranging mail forwarding if they are moving, and for putting a vacation hold if they do not anticipate that they will be at home when the package is due to arrive. Customers are entirely responsible for ensuring the receipt of the package, and Uptown Retros WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for returned orders due in part by customer negligence. (refer to Product Availability)

Tracking

We will email a sales invoice immediately after an order is placed for confirmation that your purchase had been accepted for processing.

To ensure the security of your delivery, we do provide tracking numbers a few days after your order has been placed. If you have questions about the delivery of your purchase, a Uptown Retros customer support staff will be pleased to assist you via email at sales@uptownretros.com.

Refund and Exchanges

Unfortunately we DO NOT accept any items for a refund/exchange. The only time an item maybe refunded/exchanged is if there was a mistake done on the part of Uptown Retros. Please view our Examples:

Unacceptable Reasons:

  • the color of the shoes are slightly different then the ones I ordered
  • the shoes don't fit
  • I seen another pair that I would like instead

Acceptable Reasons:

  • A mistake was made by the Uptown Retros staff on the item that was sent out to you (i.e. I ordered a size 9 but received a size 12.)

Additionally, any items that qualify for a return/exchange will be returned to us AT YOUR EXPENSE within 10 business days from the date of delivery. In returning your merchandise, you are required to obtain a tracking number from the shipping agent and provide us with this information. Any returns without approval from a Uptown Retros staff member, will not be honored.

Refunds : All refunds are refunded in the full amount. Refunds may only be issued in the same form as payment.

Changes/Cancellations

If you wish to cancel or modify your order, please send an email as soon as possible to sales@uptownretros.com. We will make every effort to accommodate your request; however, once a product has left our premises for processing and shipping, the purchase cannot be cancelled or modified. In this case, please refer to our return policy.

Delivery Process (up to 15 business days)

Shopping online can be an intimidating process for some or just plain confusing for others. If you have ever purchased anything online from a website that did not have a clear and simple delivery process, then you probably know the frustrations. Here at Uptown Retros we appreciate your business and we want you to understand our shipping process prior to placing an order so you can know when to expect your parcel. Below is the exact step for step process Uptown Retros Staff takes when processing your order.

Pending - Once you have made a payment with your credit card, your order is placed in Pending Status. Someone from Uptown Retros will review your order and verify that your credit card information is valid and that the shipping address you provided matches the address that the credit card statements are sent to. Once your order has been verified by someone at Uptown Retros your order will be elevated to the next status. This process takes 2-3 business days.

Processing - Your order has now been approved and we will now attempt to fill your order. This process can take 5-6 business days to complete. Once we have filled your order, the status will be elevated again.

Awaiting Tracking - we have processed the batch of orders that yours was in and sent it to the shipping agent for shipping. The shipping agent then replies to us with the tracking information and once we receive that we will update the status of your order to "Shipped".

Shipped - At this point you will receive an automatic email with the tracking # for your order. If you are located in the United States you can track your package at www.USPS.com. If you are located elsewhere, then it is your country's national courier. Shipping can take up to 15 business days to arrive. However normally shipping to western europe and north american addresses is much quicker.

Cancelled - If your order status is "Cancelled" this is because we were unable to verify that your shipping address matches your billing address.

Out of Stock - If your order is out of stock or we are unable to fill it for any reason, we will update the status of your order to Out of Stock and ask that you provide us with the model # of 2-3 items that you may like as a replacement. You will be sent the 1st available item. If there are no other items that you like you may request a full refund.
